Many guests stop at Sandovan’s Restaurant & Lounge to see the latest of the Milano Kollection on Saturday June 4, 2016. The exhilarating atmosphere got the crowd excited to see the models in the different Milano Kollection pieces. Models presented not only a business and summer look but fashion for the sand of the beach as well. The pieces featured in the business portion were unique and added an extra glow to the casual business look that you would not usually see in an office. The ladies made their mark as they walked down the runway and with each step letting everyone know that business casual doesn’t necessarily have to be boring or dull. Followed by the men who brought out their most classy look as they showcased comfortable business attire.
Among the models to walk the runway was Anthony, who has been modeling for six years, but recently decided to get more involved. “I felt honored, I’ve always wanted to model and I figured I’d get myself out there more,” he said. The swimsuit collection was his favorite part of the event because although he was nervous, it gave him quite the adrenaline rush to walk the runway. This show was more than just another experience, it was growth. “For me, it was growing as a model and continuing to do the thing I love,” he said. During intermission the guest ears were filled with the lyrical sounds of two local rappers. Some guests chose to take the break as an opportunity to try the delicious food of the Sandovan’s Restaurant.
To close out the fashion show, the ladies and men showcased the fashion for the warmer seasons. Fashion included shorts and bikinis that were accompanied by sarongs. The bikinis ranged in all different colors and styles just as the shorts did. The models could not help but smile as the audience's cheers and applause grew louder.
The show was produced by Milano Folks, the brains and beauty behind the Milano Kollection. He chose the venue due to his range of freedom he had with how the show was produced thanks to his uncle and aunt, the owners of Sandovan’s Restaurant. “Fantastic and amazing,” he said, “it was a really good show.” This night of fun, flair and fashion showcased some of his pieces from his upcoming collection to be released in two months.
